“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” – Isaiah 40:31.

Is there a marathon at the end of my rainbow?

Possibly....more on that in a little bit..

3 weeks...Has it really been that long since my last post!?
I guess the reason is fairly simple...
I have been traveling, working, vacationing, balling, chauffeuring, party planning, coaching........blah,blah,blah...

A couple weeks ago we took a family trip to the Smoky Mountains

please note:after 5 months of wearing rubber boots, notice baby M no longer has rain boots on!!!!
we ate some seriously good food while vacationing,
The Old Mill..BEST. FOOD. EVER!
rode rollercoasters and spinning rides and swam until we were water logged.

He no longer wears boots......now he wears a cowboy hat everywhere! Such style!
my favorite and last picture of vacation.....can you tell they were done with the paparazzi me?
We all agreed it was the best vacation ever!
As soon as we got back from vacation we hit the ground running...not really running...but you know what I mean. Speaking of running.. I have done less running in the last 3 weeks than I have done in 2 years.:(
J went out of town for work the week after vacation. Single parenting it with a full-time job and 2 kids playing ball does not allow for a lot of time to yourself.

It wouldn't be that big of a deal if I hadn't already paid the $110 registration fee to run the Country Music Marathon THIS Saturday!
I got all my long runs in, but have not run anything close to the mileage I put in for my last marathon.
So as of now, I'm undecided about running it.
More on this tomorrow......I have to get to my second home the ball fields.

Hope you all had a beautiful Easter! It is my absolute favorite holiday! I am so thankful for the Lord and the resurrection!

Grace and peace,

Great pics...love your curly/wavy hair!

I'm still debating on doing the half this weekend; I've been running regularly but not respecting the distance the way I should. Then I tell myself not every race will be a PR and I could really just make it a fun time and a good excuse to hang out w/my good friend who is also running. We'll see!
