“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” – Isaiah 40:31.

Thankful to be safe from the storms..

Wednesday our area was hit hard by tornados. Areas within a mile of my home were completely devastated. We are safe...no damage. They say we will be 5-7 days without power but if that is the worst we have then I am blessed.
I will not be running a marathon this weekend.
J works at the BP plant and it was hit twice...the second tornado was an f4. Please pass the word to pray for the people of Alabama. For restoration and comfort.

God is a good God he will restore what has been stolen.
Grace and peace,
April

Glad you and your family are safe. First time commenting but have followed your blog for a while. Sad by the devastation in AL (I grew up in Pensacola so AL getting hit so hard certainly feels close to home). Praying for restoration and peaceful hearts during this tragedy.

Blessings, Darcy

Thank goodness you and your family are safe. I live in Southern California, and the devastation there is far more widespread than any earthquake we've ever had. My thoughts and prayers are with the people going through this!

So glad you were kept safe, I hope you are able to be there for those people who weren't. I wish I could be there to help. Sending my prayers and let us know if there is anything you're home town needs.

So glad you and your family is safe. I am in Northwest Alabama and we are safe too...but my heart is broken for all the people devastated by this storm. In the last two days, almost everyone I have talked to know someone that was severely affected. It is a hard time, but with patience and prayers we will all be ok!
